We can’t ask God to be less than who He is...

We can’t ask God to be less than who He is but we can turn our hearts towards Him. And what you may feel or are going through today does not deter who He is. He forever is your all Sustainer who is all sufficient because He is all you need. No amount on this Earth can fulfill your heart as everything is temporary but He is eternal and no one can take that place you have solidly found upon Him. The secret to being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want is that we can do all things through Him who gives us strength. That is in affliction and oppression His love prevails, He is all we need, He is all-consuming, and through Him all things are possible.
